DIRTIEST KID PHOTO CONTEST

SUBMISSION DEADLINE HAS BEEN EXTENDED TO 10/31/2012!

Do you have the most cruddy, muddy, sticky, dirty, grungy photo of your son or daughter?

We will post eligible photos as we get them to our Carpet Cleaning Excellence Facebook page.  After the submission deadline ends we will determine the best 10 photo finalists and then open up voting to the general public.  The picture with the most votes via 'Likes' on our Facebook page wins!

HOW TO ENTER:

1)  Email photo of child under age 12 to info@klein-cleaning.com.

2)  Use the words 'Dirty Kid Photo Contest 2012' in your email subject line.

3)  Provide first name of child, age, your relation to the child along with your name and your city and state to be used with the photo.  Feel free to add a brief description or tagline, although that is not a requirement.  Be sure to Include your best contact email and phone number(s) with your submission. 

4)  Photos must be received by midnight Wednesday, Oct. 31, 2012.  SUBMISSION DEADLINE HAS BEEN EXTENDED.

5)  The top 10 finalists will be selected internally and announced on Oct. 22, 2012.  You will be personally notified if your photo is a finalist by email and/or phone.  Winning pictures will be selected based on photo composition, originality, 'dirt/messy creativeness', and overall level of cuteness.

6)  Public voting on our Facebook page opens up on Nov. 1, 2012 and ends at midnight Saturday, Nov. 10, 2012.

7)  Public voting requires that voters 'Like' our Facebook page in addition to 'Liking' their preferred photo. 

 8)  The participant's photo that receives the most 'Likes' by the Oct. 31, 2012 deadline is the winner of the Eureka Suction Seal vacuum!

Contest Rules and Guidelines

-Participants must live and/or work in the Southeastern Michigan area.

-Only one (1) photo submission per participant/email.

-Only digital entries are eligible and must be submitted electronically. You may submit scans of slides or paper prints.

-Only original photos taken by the person submitting are eligible; others will be disqualified.

-Each photo must be submitted by a parent or legal guardian over the age of 18. The parent or legal guardian warrants that the photo submitted is original and not previously published, and that the parent or legal guardian owns the copyright in such photo.

-If your photo is selected as a Dirtiest Kid Photo Contest winner, you hereby grant Carpet Cleaning Excellence (CCE) permission to use the photo(s) in all forms of media, including throughout any of our publications (printed, online, or otherwise) and in our affiliate organization and partners' publications and websites.

-Photos that have been digitally altered beyond standard optimization will be disqualified. Acceptable are adjustments to color, contrast, brightness and sharpness; removal of dust and scratches; cropping; black and white conversions; and use of HDR (high dynamic range imaging), where multiple exposures of the same scene are combined for a greater tonal range. Not acceptable are photo composites (combination of two or more photos, not of the same scene); the addition, duplication, deletion or moving of objects in the photos; or the use of artistic digital filters and effects. Examples of artistic filters and effects are watercolor, neon glow, posterizing, stained glass, and others which do not show the scene in its natural way.

-Each participant in the Photo Challenge (each a “Participant”) is responsible for ensuring that he or she has the right to submit.

-CCE is not responsible for any incorrect or inaccurate information, whether caused by website users or by any equipment or programming associated with or utilized in the photo contest, or by any technical or human error that may occur in the processing of submissions to the photo contest, including but not limited to any misprints or typographical errors. CCE assumes no responsibility for any error, omission, interruption, deletion, defect, delay in operation or transmission, communications line failure, theft or destruction or unauthorized access to, or alteration of, entries. CCE is not responsible for any problems or technical malfunction of any telephone network or lines, computer equipment, servers, providers, computer on-line systems, software, or failure of email on account of technical problems or traffic congestion on the Internet or at any website, including injury or damage to participant’s or to any other person’s computer related to or resulting from participating or uploading images or information in the photo challenge.

-If, for any reason, the photo challenge is not capable of completion as planned, including but not limited to, any reason of infection by computer virus, bugs, tampering, unauthorized intervention, fraud, technical failures or any other causes beyond the control of CCE that corrupt or affect the administration, security, fairness, integrity or proper conduct of the photo challenge, CCE reserves the right at their sole discretion to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the photo challenge.

-CCE agents, family members and employees are ineligible to enter and win.
